Best place to stay downtown Tucson! Location. House set up, beautiful patio, gardens , fountain, private gated parking on site. Host Daniel friendliness and willingness to help. He took time to explain us how things in the room work and when we saw the room was even better than pictures. The sound of the fountain.

Exceptional! I loved everything about this place ! The location was great very close to downtown and central to a lot of other neighborhoods in Tucson. The room was clean and beautifully decorated with very cute lighting fixtures! My room had a front porch and a little bench which I loved and It has its own temperature control which was great as it was very cold outside. The bed was big and super comfortable, I felt like a princess. Tv had a lot of channels and the room came with a coffee maker which is essential for me, as well as a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave which is useful! The bathroom was big and very well lit which I appreciated because I was there for a wedding so it was great to get ready and do makeup in. The shower came with a shampoo, conditioner and bath soap dispenser so it wasn’t tiny little bottles like in regular hotels so you don’t have to skimp! Daniel the property owner was extremely nice and professional, he makes himself available through text message which is extremely convenient and always responded promptly! My best friend lives in Tuscon and in the future I will definitely come back to this place because I loved the room and the location so much ! Thank you for a lovely stay !
A perfect gem! This was one of the best places that I’ve booked hotels.com. From the quaint room to the picturesque courtyard. Everything was perfect. My only complaint is that I only booked one night!
I've seen rooms like this book for $300 a night. I would definitely recommend this place. Very clean, luxurious, and peaceful. The grounds, the furnishings, everything was so beautiful and clean. Secure parking is a definite plus.
This house is so fun and gorgeous. The courtyard with the fire place and fountain are so relaxing. Downtown night life is just a few minutes walk away. The host is very accommodating. Would highly recommend!
Excellent, quiet and safe location. Very clean and comfortable. Easy check-in and check-out. Good communication with operator. We would recommend El Amador to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Tucson at a reasonable rate. Much better than soulless chain motels and hotels.

The house was incredible. Perfect house for 2 couples. Loved the interior and the outdoor area was incredible. Location is perfect to downtown with many restaurants, bars and breweries within walking distance.
Great quiet place downtown Tucson! The location was great! Only a couple of blocks from Congress Street. It had private parking which is a great perk, and the bedroom was in excellent condition. The bed was amaaazing, slept very well.
The place was beautiful and the staff very accommodating.
This house is even better than advertised and Daniel C is an excellent host. I rented for the weekend to visit my daughter at U of A and it was only a five minutes drive to her dorm. I cooked her favorite dinner and we dined in the beautiful dining room then sat around the fire pit in the really nice courtyard.

The place was great, comfortable nice stay, and there was plenty filtered water, cups, silverware, a full functioning kitchen. It was a blast to stay in and a very nice home.

This is a lovely property in a very convenient location. It combines period charm with modern facilities. There is plenty of space and the rooms are well arranged. Daniel was very helpful and was there to greet us when we arrived, and to show us around. A great place to stay.
Daniel C. went out of his way to create a welcoming, inviting, and festive stay for our family over the holidays. We felt cared for even before ever stepping foot into the house (it was decorated for xmas, lights, trees, and all). Daniel was attentive to our every need, even when it inconvenienced him (on xmas, for example, when the cable went out). The backyard courtyard offers spacious grounds for reflection and birdwatching, not to mention morning coffee in the sun, and the fire pit offered a warm, cozy place to gather in the evenings. Other guests on site were around, but Daniel made sure everyone experienced their own private stay even despite the shared public spaces. The Tucson house is great for a large family or family groups, as it can accommodate many while offering separation and privacy for big groups. Thank you for a lovely extended stay.
Love it!!! That was just like heaven to stay there! Everything was beautiful! The room was clean and gorgeous! I will stay there when I have any chances to go that area!
